Valentine’s Day

O Dia Internacional do Amor é comemorado no dia 14 de fevereiro, o “Valentine’s Day”. Os alunos do 1° e 2° anos confeccionaram cartões durante a aula de inglês, com a professora Ana Maria, depois trocaram entre si.

Traditional gifts include cards, flowers, and chocolates.
Decorations for Valentine’s Day are generally in red and pink colors and include hearts, Cupid with his arrow, and red roses. Cupid is a popular symbol of the holiday because in mythology his arrow strikes the heart of people and causes them to fall in love.

In the United States children often exchange Valentine’s Day cards with their classmates. These are usually just fun, silly cards or about friendship rather than romantic love. They often attach a piece of candy to the cards.


 

Dia das Mães

Os pais e responsáveis pelos alunos do Ensino Fundamental I foram convidados a participar de uma reunião referente ao término do bimestre. Além disso, houve a comemoração do “Dia das Mães” com várias apresentações musicais, inclusive algumas em inglês, que demonstraram o carinho de cada filho por sua mãe.  Parabéns a todas.
